Snickerdoodle Recipe

You can't go wrong with this classic snickerdoodle recipe.
Snickerdoodles are delicious & loved by most.
This recipe makes about 5 dozen, so it's great for big gatherings.
Adjust to suit your needs.

3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 T. sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon

1. Grease a cookie sheet.
2. Sift together flour, soda, cream of tartar and salt. Set aside.
3. In a separate bowl, beat butter for 30 seconds; add the sugar and beat until fluffy.
4. Add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat well.
5. Add dry ingredients to egg/sugar mixture & beat until well blended.
6. Combine 3 T. sugar & 1 tsp. ground cinnamon.
7. Form dough into 1-inch balls, and roll in cinnamon & sugar mixture.
8. Place on greased cookie sheet leaving about 2 inches between each. Flatten dough slightly with bottom of drinking glass.
9. Bake in 375 degree oven for about 8 minutes or until light golden.
