Pizzaburgers: The perfect crowd pleaser :)

This delicious recipe comes from my elementary school cookbook, and was an all-time favorite among the kids.

This recipe freezes well, so make ahead & pull them out when ever the craving strikes; or, for your kids friends on the weekend.

1 - 1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef, browned and lightly salted and peppered (use ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version).
Can of Spam, mash with a fork.
Jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce -- I use Ragu -- add enough to make it moist and to hold the ingredients together.
Italian seasoning -- to your tastes; but not too much.
Mozzarella cheese, shredded -- enough to make it taste good; roughly 2 cups.
Hamburger buns

1. Brown the meat; crumble & drain.
2. Combine all the ingredients and spread a healthy serving on hamburger buns; open-faced style.
3. Place on cookie sheet or jelly roll pan.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 - 15 minutes.

To make ahead & freeze; complete the recipe & freeze with the buns already topped; covered with plastic wrap. Simply defrost when ready to eat & cook.
