Breakfast Parfait Recipe

Print This Page

This breakfast parfait recipe is really a spruced-up version
of a healthy stand-by recipe: Yogurt & granola mixed.
Simple & delicious!

We're going to add some more healthy goodness to a classic, easy breakfast.

This recipe was contributed by Rebekah R. to a Taste of Home magazine, and makes 4 servings.
Serve in parfait glasses.

1 cup unsweetened applesauce
Dash ground nutmeg or cinnamon
1/2 cup granola with raisins -- choose your own or
make this delicious granola.
1-1/3 cups vanilla yogurt

1. In a small bowl, combine applesauce & nutmeg or cinnamon.
2. Spoon 1 T. granola into each of 4 parfait glasses or wide-mouthed glasses.
3. Layer each with 1/3 cup yogurt & 1/4 cup applesauce; sprinkle with remaining granola.
Serve immediately.

You can add more granola to this recipe if it suits your tastes. :)
