Oatmeal Scotchies

These oatmeal scotchies are a Nestle Toll House classic recipe,
and make about 4 dozen cookies.
You can never go wrong with Toll House.
Enjoy!! :)

1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract or grated orange peel
3 cups quick or old-fashioned oats
1 2/3 cup (11 oz. pkg.) Nestle Toll House Butterscotch Morsels

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Sift flour, baking soda, salt & cinnamon together in a small bowl.
3. Beat butter, white & brown sugar, eggs and vanilla in large bowl until creamy.
4. Gradually beat in flour mixture.
5. Stir in oats & butterscotch morsels.
6. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
7. Bake for 7 - 8 minutes for chewy cookies or 9 - 10 minutes for crispy cookies. Let stand for 2 minutes before removing to wire rack to cool.
