Mommy Jewelry

I discovered "mommy jewelry" when I was 40 years old.
Can you believe it?!
It's like I had my head in the sand or something....or maybe it simply wasn't invented yet.
That sounds shocking, but growing up, we thought the typewriter was advanced. :)
Outside of my grandmother's charm bracelet with heads on it, I had never seen jewelry just for moms.

Our first year in the Philippines, a friend was wearing this darling circle pendant; one end of the circle was a mother, and the other end of the circle, which joined the mother, was a child.

I fell in love, and had to wait 3 years to return to the states to find it.
I purchased it for Mother's Day, and the only place I could find it was at JCPenney's.

Now, they have Swank Mommy Jewelry. Very cool!
I don't know about you, but I love broadcasting about my kids.
To wear their name emblazoned on me, just feels right. :)
And, we're in good company; this line of jewelry has caught the eye of the stars.

You'll be styling with the Pitt's, the McConaughey's, the Affleck's,
Halle Berry, and the Quaid's -- to name just a few.

I've never been one to follow the stars, but I do think it's cool they wear Swank Mommy and it's within the "common woman's" grasp :)

I don't return to the states for another year and a half,
so will have to wait to be a "swank mommy." :)
