Moist Pumpkin Bread

Print This Page

This moist pumpkin bread is absolutely delicious.
It makes 6, 4x8 loaf pans, so it's great for gift giving.
My friend, Nhan, gave me this great recipe.

2 1/4 cups sugar
2 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
29 oz. can pumpkin
6 eggs
1 1/2 cups canola oil
1 cup water
5 1/4 cups flour
1 T. + 1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
2 1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking soda
Chopped nuts, optional

1. Mix sugars and pumpkin. Set aside.
2. Blend eggs, oil, and water.
3. Add flour to egg mixture.
4. Combine sugars with egg mixture and add cinnamon, cloves, salt and baking soda.
5. Add chopped nuts if you prefer.

Place in greased loaf pans and bake for 50 minutes in 350 degree oven.
Enjoy!
