Hummus Recipe

Print This Page

This fresh tasting hummus recipe is delicious served
with whole wheat pita bread, crackers or as a sandwich spread.

Most kids like this healthy alternative to other treats. My family loves it. So delish!

1 can garbanzo beans, drained; reserving 2 T. of liquid
1/4 cup tahini (sesame seed paste; found in most grocery stores).
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 clove garlic, minced; or 1 tsp. minced garlic from a jar.
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. coriander
1/2 tsp. turmeric
1/2 tsp. paprika

1. Place all ingredients in blender or food processor; including 2 T. reserved liquid. Puree until smooth.

Enjoy this yummy goodness :)
