This recipe is from Vivian, a great cook & Bible teacher at my kids school.

3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup honey or 1/4 cup light corn syrup
2 tsps. vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup nuts, chopped (optional)

1. Cream together butter & sugar.
2. Blend in honey or corn syrup and vanilla.
3. Add eggs, beating well after each.
4. Combine flour, cocoa and salt; gradually stir into creamed mixture.
5. Stir in nuts if desired.
6. Place in greased 8 x 8 inch pan.
7. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes.
