Homemade Ravioli

I love this easy homemade ravioli recipe, because these little taste treats are stuffed with ground chicken & cream cheese with chives and onions. Oh yummy! Healthy and delicious.
To top off the ease, this recipe uses wonton wrappers in place of pasta. So groovy :) These ravioli's can be frozen for up to 3 months, and used as needed.
6 oz. ground raw chicken or turkey 1 8 oz. soft-style cream cheese with chives and onion 1/4 cup carrot, shredded 20 - 3 1/2 inch wonton wrappers Prepared jar pasta sauce of your choosing.
Filling: 1. In a medium bowl, mix ground meat, softened cream cheese & carrot. Set aside.
2. Place 1 T. of filling in each wonton wrapper center. Moisten edges with water & fold over. Seal by using a mild fork imprint, or pastry wheel.
3. Bring water & 1 T. of oil to a boil in a large pot. Once water reaches the boil, reduce heat & lower desired amount of ravioli into water with slotted spoon. Simmer for 3 - 5 minutes. Remove with slotted spoon.
To freeze ravioli: 1. Place ravioli in Ziploc or freezer container; seal & freeze for up to 3 months. 2. Cook frozen ravioli the same as above, but it may take a few minutes longer to cook.
To serve, place cooked ravioli on top of warm pasta sauce. Add some crusty bread & a salad to complete this meal.
