Gooey Butter Cookies

These Gooey Butter Cookies are melt-in-your-mouth delicious!
Oh my! Completely addicting. They could win an award; seriously.
Anyone who tastes them, wants the recipe.

My friend, Kathy, shared this scrumptious recipe with me.
I made these twice in one week after tasting them for the first time.
They will become a favorite quickly. :)

gooey cookie


1 - 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 egg
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 box yellow cake mix
1/4 cup powdered sugar

1. Cream butter & cream cheese.
2. Stir in egg & vanilla.
3. Add cake mix and stir until blended.
4. Cover & refrigerate for 30 minutes.
5. Roll into 1 inch balls & roll in powdered sugar.
6. Cook on ungreased baking sheet.
7. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 - 13 minutes.
