Easy Meatball Recipe

Print This Page

This is such an easy meatball recipe that's so tasty
and healthy too.
Just substitute ground chicken or turkey, or even lean ground pork for the ground beef.
Serve these gems with your favorite pasta and spaghetti sauce.
We've also used these for a delicious meatball sandwich.

You can make ahead for added ease and just heat before serving.

1/4 to 1/3 cup chopped green onions, based on your family's tastes.
1/4 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
2 T. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
1 lb. lean ground beef. My family prefers ground chicken or turkey and it's a leaner choice.

In a bowl, mix all ingredients.
Shape into 1 inch balls and place on shallow baking pan.
Bake at 400 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes or cooked through and lightly browned.
This makes about a dozen meatballs.

Add to your favorite pasta and spaghetti sauce.
Or use this great marinara.
Enjoy :)
