Chocolate Chip Cookies

Print This Page

I grew up making a family recipe for chocolate chip cookies;
thinking it was good.
Then one day, my sister-in-law introduced me to:
The Hershey's Great American Chocolate Chip Cookie.

Mornin' Sunshine! I haven't used another recipe since.

To think it was there all along; right on the package of Hershey's chocolate morsels, and I was eating sub-par cookies all that time -- it's just not right! :)

If you haven't discovered them yet; Bon Appetit :)

1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 cups unsifted flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups chocolate chips

1. Cream butter, sugars and vanilla together until light and fluffy.
2. Add eggs and mix well.
3. Combine dry ingredients.
4. Gradually beat into creamed mixture.
5. Stir in chips.
6. Drop by spoon onto ungreased baking sheet.
7. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 - 10 minutes.

Enjoy with cold milk.
