caesar salad recipe

This recipe serves 4, so adapt to meet your needs.
I found this tasty recipe in a Better Homes & Garden Cookbook, and I've had a variation of this in a restaurant.

I would never have considered combining cooked pasta with green salad, but it really is delicious. Enjoy :)

6 oz. bow tie pasta (about 2 1/4 cups)
1 10-oz. package Caesar Salad Kit
(includes lettuce, dressing, croutons, and cheese).
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1 9-oz. package refrigerated cooked chicken breast strips -- you can use boneless, skinless chicken breast and cook if you prefer. Season to taste.
Caesar dressing, only if you need more.

1. Cook pasta according to directions; drain well. Rinse with cold water & drain again.
2. In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, entire contents of salad package, the tomatoes and toss to combine.
3. Add chicken strips, and additional grated Parmesan cheese or dressing.

You could add black olives, capers, feta cheese or toasted pine nuts if you like.

Serve with crusty french bread. So easy & delicious!
