Banana Muffin Recipe

This sour cream banana muffin recipe tastes delicious warm fresh out of the oven, or after spending a night in the refrigerator.
So, they're the perfect muffin to make ahead for a brunch or party.

Moist and full of flavor! They melt in your mouth too.

And, it uses one of the most staple food items in most homes -- Bananas. Thank you very much! :)

banana sour cream muffin


This recipe makes about 12 muffins.
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 very ripe bananas, mashed

1. Beat sugar & butter together.
2. Beat egg into sugar mixture.
3. Combine flour & soda; add to sugar mixture alternating with sour cream.
4. Add vanilla and bananas. Nuts, if you like.
5. Fill greased muffin tins to 2/3 full & bake for 20 - 25 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
