Print This Page

This delicious baked beans recipe is smoldering
with peppery goodness, and a zippy barbecue flavor.
Our friend, Gwen, introduced us to this winner.
And easy too!

Big can of pork and beans -- drained
1 onion, minced & sauteed
1/2 to 3/4 cup molasses
1/2 to 3/4 cup brown sugar
14 oz. ketchup
Black pepper to taste

1. Saute onions.
2. Combine all ingredients and bake without a lid
for 1 1/2 - 2 hours at 375 degrees.

Delicious!!

You may want to try this beautiful Le Creuset French Oven
for your beans. Beautiful :) This pot will last so long,
you'll be able to pass it down to your kids.
